    1. Hi Atanu, The advantage what you get by going through such 3rd party portals is the comparison between the policies and you choose best which is suitable to you. You can go ahead if you are not able to filter a policy on your own suitable for you.

      1. Dear Suresh,

        Thank you for your guidance.

Actually my concern is: Are there any advantage to go with third paty or not, in terms of premium amount, claiming, switching to other company policy(if not satisfied).

I want to know advantage/ disadvantage using third party or direct, if I choose a particular policy.

        Thank you and regards.

        Atanu Mitra

        1. Except for providing guidance / comparison among various insurance plans, there is no other specific benefit. Coming to negative points, they can influence your decision. When you approach such 3rd party agents, you should be making your own decisions inspite of their recommendatoin.

          1. Dear Suresh,

Many thanks for your advice and guidance which always help us like me.

            Thank you and regards

  13. Thanks for the info. I have max bupa health companion for last 2 years. Could you please provide your review on that? Also, they have been increasing health insurance premium every year. Is it normal? I have not had any claims till now.

    Thanks

    Tarun

    1. I too had max bupa but then i ported this year to Star Health the premium are pretty almost same a 1k difference to be max. By porting the waiting period and other policy related are carry forwarded which is good. I am not sure how they fair in claims but i have heard the claim process is pretty good. More on that how every insurance fares finally drills down when you raise and try to settle a claim yourself. 🙂
