Rahul, Please check why you have paid IT in current year pertaining to last year. Is it because of Bank FD interest tax or short term capital gain from stocks or mutual funds ? If you know root cause then you can avoid.

Thanks Dakshin. There is no maximum amount to be invested here. However you can get tax exemption U/S 80C for maximum of Rs 1 lakhs for all options put together. Regd Sr. Citizens the rates are 0.5% higher than the normal rates at all banks.
