  1. My order no 3880096606 dated 27sep17. Amount Rs7665/- online transferred to paytm from my a/c for purchase of mobile phone. All details with paytm office. But merchant or customer care don't have above order with them due system failure. An enquiry made with paytm care who gave me query ref:39878197. This is the only answer I received from customer care despite several reminders.  No one seems to bother about a paid customer's financial loss.

Now plz advise me the solution or whose door I should knock to solve the problem.

Rush reply in my email ID at your earliest.

    Regards  ///  Siddique.

  2. Bloody service really bad I lost 3000 no reply on my query no msg or mail even Ivrs toll-free no. Responding how to get cashless

  3. I have serious questions about the safety of my money in PayTM wallet. I tried booking bus ticket. The payment gateway portal which linked me with the bus operator could access my wallet WITHOUT my permission. As soon as I entered my mobile number, the website informed me how much balance I have in the wallet. They should have verified my credentials by sending me OTP to my number, which never came. If this is the case, how safe is my moeny in PayTM Wallet? Anyone who knows my mobile number can access my wallet.

I complained twice to PayTM by email. Each time they sent me (after many days) some steriotyped reply,  like 'Do not share your OTP', etc….without making any reference to actual issue I raised. I lost faith in PayTM wallet.

  4. With the government keen on encouraging the whole of India to go digital, with the objective of keeping the transaction cost of payments effected on the electronic platform, the govt. itself should launch an App similar to PayTM and charge a very very nominal fee keeping in mind the vast populace which is poor.

In one word, the electronic payment platform should be a nationalised entity – this would also help in integrating it with a banking transaction tax regime in future !

  5. is there any hidden transaction fee for receipts and payment through paytm ?

are they are charge any to trnsfer paytm amout to my bank account ?

  6. The payment app shud be a facilitator not an intruder. Why should the paytm app ask for access to my camera/media/file, SMS,CALL Info. There is likelyhood of the info being misused.

    1. Hi Ankesh, here is how you can transfer money from paytm to your bank account. Step 1: Login to paytm,  Step 2: Just Click on “Transfer Money to Bank” option, Step 3: Fill in the account holder name and account number with respective amount. Step 4: Select the bank, state, city and branch or if you know the IFSC code manually type in the code in there and Submit. Step 5: Click “Send Money”. Step 6: Money is credited to your account.

  7. If somebody steals my mobile, he can use up all my balance in PayTM for payment – there is no MFA (Multi Factor Authentication), even if I log out, the user who steals my mobile can click on “Forgot password” and login. So it is highly insecure to keep money in it for shopping. So, I will end up putting money in it every time I do shopping – a big problem.

    1. Yes that is one of the problem. I use it mostly for Uber cabs so that I dont have to pay with cash otherwise exact change is always not possible. So keep small amount and use it.

  8. is our money in paytm wallet safe and secure, if paytm stops their  services overnight, what will happen to our money parked in the wallet. how to  transfer money from wallet to our  bank.

  9. You havent mentioned anything related to security in this article, which is supposedly the focus of your piece. Please dont just add false headings to your article to generate more hits.

  10. I have done quite a few transaction, Really attractive offers but they take minimum 10-15 days to deliver(Bangalore).. Really they should improve on delivery process. Rest so far is good

    1. Paytm had to stop selling Gold coins some time back because most of them were fake. The whey protein powders they sell are fake and if you tell them that they will say you to return the product but never take action on the seller. What does that mean if paytm was genuine they would have blacklisted the supplier but they never do that. Also they sell Axis Bank Gift card at a discount of 3% i.e. you buy Rs.10000 card at Rs.9700 and how do you think they make money. They are running a ponzi scheme where by the next customers money is used to fund the previous customer.Try buying one, the card is never activated before 15 to 20 days i.e. after 20-30 emails exchange and if you ask for refund, they do not do that.Try buying a DSLR camera and you will get a used one with bonus pictures. All these happened to me personally. But I still do all my recharges on paytm because of the cashbacks given on all these products. Also most of the indian shoppers cannot make out difference between Genuine and duplicate products. The Watches, cosmetics,Protein Powders,Clothes,Headphones etc all are shown branded but if you examine closely using online resources most of them can be made out to be fake .So buyers be very careful while dealing with paytm or for that matter any online company. But the better one is Amazon.

  11. I’m using Paytm Wallet to pay bills/recharges/bus ticket bookings etc.. So far so good. I’ve not done transactions in heavy amount. Till now it’s fine.

    1. Never buy products from paytm as they are mostly fake and one more tip that will save your life “NO GIFT CARDS” and “NO IMPORTED FOOD PRODUCTS” because gift cards are non-refundable and the company which provides these gift cards is “Giftcardsindia” which has its office in Malad,Mumbai which is a big cheat and fraud and most imported food products are 100 percent fake.
