These days, even a 2 year kid would want to have touch feeling on the mobile phone. While the smart phone contains additional features like touch screen, mobile Apps, downloading, operating system, web browsing apart from the telephonic features, these are being attracted by various companies offering them at ₹ 5,000 or ₹ 10,000 or below ₹ 15,000. There are mobile phones which contain exotic features which even an iPhone would not have.

I recently bought Vivo mobile phone for my spouse at ₹ 5,000. After 2 days, my daughter questioned saying, Dad, you have iPhone costing ₹ 50,000, and mom’s Vivo phone costing ₹ 5,000, but I would tell you 3 features which Vivo mobile phone has which does not have an iPhone. 1) We can type text messages on whatsapp in Telugu without an app (iPhone requires App to do it). 2) We can open whatsapp with a single click and without unlocking. We have to just type w letter on touch screen without unlocking. For iPhone it takes 2 clicks 3) To open internet, you need to just write “e” on Vivo phone. But on the iPhone, I need to unlock and open safari. This made me think about exotic features are being offered on mobile phones that are coming with less costs. While the iPhone is a good brand, there are several mobile phones being offered with good features which are below ₹ 15,000.

- A recognized mobile operating system
- Internet connectivity
- Wifi
- The ability to run multiple tasks simultaneously
- Touch screen
- Enable to download softwares and run them independently.
