Suggest a topic

Dear Readers

Greetings from

I am getting several emails asking for investment advices on While I would be responding them individually, these would not reach other readers. I am getting questions from people which are general in nature and I am trying to answer the same questions to several investors. To avoid this, I am taking new initiative which would help readers. This is “Suggest a topic” option on the menu bar. If you have any topic which is not covered here, you can leave a comment with little detailed description on what you are looking for which you could not find on this website. I would start publishing the articles based on these topics as early as possible.

Thanks Manju Fernandes from Dubai who is asking for NRI investment advices and Ravi Gupta who is asking to write about best demat accounts in terms of low charges. I am starting this topic with these two.

    Thank you in advance

  2. I have 10 lakh Ruppees to invest. My age is 36 now residing in Pune. I am Married and still not have child. Right now my amount is in FD for 8.2 PA. How can I diversify it.

  3. Hello Sir,

I would appreciate if you can post an article with investment tips for NRIs returning back to India. I myself am an NRI  (mid career, not retired, laid off due to stringent cost cutting) soon to return back home. And from other forums out there on the internet, I get the feeling that a large number of NRIs will be facing the same situation, so such an article would be of great benefit.

    Many thanks in advance!

  4. Hi Suresh,

With FD rates falling down , there are many options of FMPs floating around in the market. Can you please suggest on what parameters to look before investing in FMP, how to have a rough estimate about the returns and how they are different from close ended capital protection funds?
