    Have been a regular reader of your columns and find them very useful. In this case not sure if the term “yield” is being accurately. Sorry but this comes across as click bait. There is no 8.38% yield in any of these cases.

    • Hello Rahul, Yield is not that I compute on my own. This info is very much available in public domain for such fixed deposits. The info of 8.38% is for 5 years cumulative FD scheme. Pls see 3rd interest rate table chart and last row item. Also this is on specific date of writing article. If any such companies change FD interest rates (either increase of decrease), even yield would also change.
