10) Pre-launch properties: Thought I have not personally experimented this, but I could able to see several examples through my friends and colleagues. Whenever there is a pre-launch offer for residential property, my friend used to book a flat and within 1 to 2 years, he used to sell them at a premium of 20% to 30%. I felt this is a good strategy if one is looking for short term investment. Yes, I agree there is a risk that the real estate prices can fall. 2. Greetings Suresh,

My name is Sachin & I kind of following your articles for last month or so. I was naive in terms of stock/trade & within a span of a month I'm pretty much aware about the terminology of the markets. I'm still far from what you could say a better/advance knowledge, but I'm sure after reading more of your articles, i'll get there.

By God grace, I'm doing ok. However I just dont want to sit onto what I'm doing right away. From my past experiences, I have learned that you should have more than one source of income. Though it's easier said than done, I still believe, I can work towards it & can try out trading some day (though that still looks at least couple of years away. lol.. 🙂

Coming to the point here, I want to invest around 50K-75K monthly via various modes for 5 years. Ideally, I'd like to invest into some MF, coporate FD's or any other investment options which gives better returns than bank FD's. I already have couple of bank FD's under my name as well as my wife name. The obective here is double the money in span of 60-65 Months.

I'd really appreciate your kind advise on what should I do & what investments should keep under my investment portfolio to realize what I mentioned above. If it is not too much to ask, I'd appreciate a detailed answer with which MF's, Debt funds, Corporate FD's should I invest into?

    Thanks & Regards

    1. Good to hear from you Sachin. I really appreciate your views about creating multiple sources of income. Yes, not simple, but not that hard. Try, try and invest in good options, one day you would see multiple sources of income. You can invest in these funds to the tune of 40% to 50% of your portfolio 1) Large cap – HDFC Top-200 / ICICI Pru focussed blue chip fund 2) Mid-cap – HDFC Mid-cap opps fund / Franklin India smaller co’s / SBI Midcap fund 3) Balanced – You can check HDFC Prudence / ICICI Balanced fund. You can invest 10% to 20% in corporate FD’s. See this article https://myinvestmentideas.com/2014/04/5-top-rated-company-fixed-deposit-schemes-for-superior-returns/ Balance you can invest in bank FD’s

  4. hi suresh,

this is suresh, i am drawing 21k per month, i have a 3 months old girl child. i want to invest some money on savings for her future. which plans are better for savings. if i want to invest 1 lakh money right now. which are good to get good returns and make my money doubled in short period

    1. Dear Mr. Suresh,

I can suggest you a good investment option and saving scheme plan. Invest in Monthly Saving Scheme(MSS-002) 3 years plan in Futuregen Agro Farms (P)Ltd. Invest Rs.2000 for 36 months (Rs.72,000) on maturity get back Rs.93,600.i.e 30 %. The plans are available for 1 year, you get 12 % and 5 years, you get 60 %.

For investing Rs.1.00 lakh I would suggest invest in Double Money Scheme. For 48 months you get a monthly payout of Rs.4167 ( Rs.4167×48) = Rs.200,016.00

      Regards

      Aashish
