    Hi Suresh,

Can you please provide advice on tax free bonds available in open market?

Thanks Mr Suresh for the information. Could you please let us know how to buy them ? is it through direct stock market searching for Zee preference shares in NSE/BSE or Mututal funds? Please explain

  • R Varadarajan

Dear Mr Suresh, Thanks for the write up about the Zee Preference Shares. Please could you inform how the yield has been calculated.
If I use the XIRR formula with investment date as 22/02/16 and returns as indicated in your chart on various dates, I get a return of 10.44% in the first option and 8.2% in the second option. The yearly returns assumed in the second option appear to be incorrect as there would be no reduction in the returns till 2022, since there is no 20% buy back.

Please could you advise the position.
